Be a true Proud Animal Lover and make one of the animals your special Pal. Sponsor one of our animals for a year and help support their care. You can maintain your PAL Sponsorship for as long as you like by paying annual dues. The monies generated by the program are used to offset the Zoo’s animal food costs.
Becoming a PAL is easy!
1) Choose an animal:
American Beaver, Diamondback Terrapin, North American Bison, American Bullfrog, Dominique Chicken, Oberhasli Goat, American Oystercatcher, Exmoor Pony, Piping Plover, American Shetland Pony, Grey Tree Frog, Plymouth Red-Bellied Turtle, Asian Elephant, Harbor Seal, River Otter, Bald Eagle, Leicester Longwool Sheep, Sandhill Crane, Black Bear Milk Snake, Spotted Salamander, Black Rat Snake, Milking Devon, Ox Spotted Turtle, Bobcat, Mountain Lion, Suffolk Punch Draft Horse, Canadian Lynx, Narragansett Turkey, White-Tailed Deer, Coyote
2) Choose a support level:
Friendly Pal $25
* Official PAL Certificate
* Fact Sheet about your animal pal
* 8” by 10” photograph of your animal pal
* Recognition for one year on the Zoo’s Official Zoo PAL Honor Board
Protector Pal $50
* All of the above, plus:
* A PAL Privilege Pass (a one-time pass that lets you bring up to four friends to see your pal at the zoo)
* A Buttonwood Park Zoo Magnet
Guardian Pal $100
* All of the above, plus:
* An invitation (for up to four people) to the Buttonwood Park Zoo PAL Picnic
Best Friend Pal $250
* All of the above, plus:
* A PAL Encounter (for up to four people): meet your animal pal and the zookeeper who cares for it
Making your best pal a Zoo Pal is a “grrrrreat” gift!
