Toe Jam Puppet Band
Every Monday at 10:30am and 12:30pm
Cost: Zoo admission + $5/family
Sing, dance and play the hour away with New Bedford’s favorite, The Toe Jam Puppet Band!
Please Note: There will be no Toe Jam Puppet Band on Columbus Day, Monday, October 8.

 

Toddler Tales
Every Thursday at 10:30am
Cost: Free with zoo admission

Enjoy a zooper fun story time at the zoo! Toddler Tales includes a snack and a craft/activity. Recommended for ages 3-5.

Elephant Appreciation Day
Sunday, September 23 • 1:00pm-4:00pm
Cost: Free with zoo admission

We’ll celebrate all elephants with a day of demonstrations, activities and crafts. Join us for a day of elephant-sized fun!
Family Fall Fun Campfires
Friday, September 28 • 6:30pm
Cost: $25/family for members; $35/family for non-members

Bring a blanket to spread on the ground and enjoy a beautiful Friday evening at the zoo. Relax around the campfire as we share an activity, a story and a snack. There will be a different topic for each campfire. Participants must pre-register and pay in advance by calling (508) 991-4556 x 18. Please Note: In the event of poor weather, we will call by 5:00PM to cancel.
Harvest at the Farm
Saturday, October 6 • 1:00pm-4:00pm
Cost: Free with zoo admission

Celebrate fall at the farm in the Zoo! Get a farmer’s eye view from the seat of a tractor and look for a needle in a haystack. Join us for harvest-related activities for the whole family.

 

Boo at the Zoo
October 12-14,19-21, 26-28 • 6:00pm-9:00pm
Cost: Zoo Members: $8/adult; $5/child; Non-Members: $13/adult; $10/child

There’s enough thrills and chills for everyone at Boo at the Zoo! Join us at Boo at the Zoo for an evening of Halloween fun! Rides are included in the Boo admission. Climb aboard for a spoooooky train ride or take a bewitching carousel ride! It’s slightly scary fun for all ages.

 
Cub Scouts Wildlife Conservation Pin and Belt Loop Program
Saturday, November 10 • 1:00pm-4:00pm

Specially designed for Cub Scouts, this program will cover all pre-requisites for a pin and belt loop in Wildlife Conservation. For more details or to register, please visit “Programs for Cub Scouts” at www.narragansettbsa.org.
