Would you like to make your backyard more wildlife-friendly? Does it really matter which bird seed you use? Join us to learn about the latest information on feeding birds in the winter. We’ll construct a beautiful wood and Plexiglass feeder to take home. The feeder is suitable for holiday gift giving. Additional feeder kits will be available for purchase at the workshop. Join zoo staff to create a beautiful, one-of-a-kind wreath. We’ll start with a balsam wreath base and add your choice of greens, berries, pine cones, seasonal decorations and ribbon. Take home a holiday decoration like no other. Participants must pre-register and pay in advance by calling the Education Department at (508) 991-6178.
