Wildlife Carousel Now Open!
The carousel runs daily (weather permitting) from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM and tickets are $2. The carousel has been financed with a loan from Bristol County Savings Bank and future proceeds will directly support education programs, exhibit improvements and conservation awareness.
Do you wonder how a carousel gets put together? Check out the video below for a little peak at the process!
Excellent, it is really nice to see improvements such as this to really benefit the children. The changes to the zoo are as my daughter puts it “wicked cool”, she also send a big hug to those who are responsible.
Beautiful. Looking forward to seeing in-person on our first Buttonwood visit.
Buttonwood Park did an awesome job making this new carousel accessible! This was the 1st time I’ve ever seen an accessible carousel, I was impressed! Last time I rode a carousel I think I was maybe 9yrs old or so, & I rode it the regular way. Since my disability has worsened, I never thought it’d be possible to ride 1 again.. but it just goes to show u, "e “some people think the sky’s the limit, I believe there are no limits” ~Jeff Irwin. & perhaps there really are no limits
