Indoor Monkey Business • Friday 1:00-4:00 pm
Cost: Zoo admission + $5 per family
Join us this January for open play Fridays: wrap up the school week with a quick visit with the animals and an afternoon of games, toys and puzzles. We’ll provide the toys and the space, you provide the monkeys! This is a great way to let the kids expend some energy outside the house! Games/activities include:
- Board Games
- Puzzles
- Hula Hoops
- Play Dough
- Building Blocks
- Twister
- And More…
why can’t I find an overal view of the zoo on you website, like a map of the zoo? How big is it? how many animals are there?

Buttonwood Park Zoo features over 250 animals and 30 exhibits, including elephants, bison, mountain lions, bears, eagles, seals, otters, and farm animals. A walk around the Zoo is approximately 1/4 mile. An average Zoo visit last approximately 1.5 hours. You can download a map at the link provided above.
