Membership Drive Extended

logo

Because June has been a bit of a wash-out, the Buttonwood Park Zoo is expanding our membership drive to July.  The Zoo’s goal is to sign up 500 new zoo members and we will only be able to do it with your help!

New members who sign up between June 1st and July 31st will be eligible to participate in our Membership promotion.  Any current member who recruits a new member will be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift certificate at the North Woods Gift Store.  Your name will be entered for each new member you recruit.  Simply have your name put on the membership application with a “recruited by” next to it.  All new members will be entered in a separate drawing for another $100 gift certificate at the gift store.

Buttonwood Park Zoo Members receive FREE zoo admission during regular zoo hours, a 10% discount at the North Woods  Gift Store, discount rates for special events and programs, and  reciprocal admission privileges at over 120 zoos across the country.  Perspective members should visit http://bpzoo.org/get-involved/membership/categories-benefits/ or call (508) 991-4556 x 10 to find out more information about zoo memberships at the Buttonwood Park Zoo.

    I would like to know how much is a membership. Thanks.

  2. bpzoo says:

    A family membership is $55 per year. You can visit the membership category page for more information: http://bpzoo.org/get-involved/membership/categories-benefits/

  3. Janet Bemis says:

    My husband and I have a membership, what’s the differance between a family membership and a grandparent membership?

  4. bpzoo says:

    The Family and Grandparent memberships are very similar. Both include two adults named on the membership card. The Family Membership also includes all of the couple’s children under the age of 18, while the Grandparent Membership includes all of the couple’s grandchildren under the age of 18. See the membership pages for more information or call us with questions any time at (508)991-4556, ext. 10.

  5. Jesse Wiggins says:

    Are you able to share a listing of the zoos with whom you have a “reciprocal admission” arrangement?

    Thank you.

  6. bpzoo says:

    Of course! You can visit the reciprocal admission page of our website for a list of all of the Zoos & Aquariums participating in the program. Locally, your BPZS membership gives you free admission to:
    * Capron Park Zoo (Attleboro)
    * Franklin Park Zoo (Boston)
    * Stone Zoo (Stoneham)
    * Museum of Science (Boston)

    *Please note: Roger Williams Park Zoo and New England Aquarium do not participate in the reciprocal admission program with Buttonwood Park Zoo.

  7. Susanne Schneider says:

    I just got a membership in May but cannot find my cards. We went to the Capron park zoo but the cashier said he could not look up my membership. Is there any way I can be reimbursed?

  8. bpzoo says:

    Unfortunately we cannot refund admission fees from other institutions. Your BPZ Membership can only be verified here at the Buttonwood Park Zoo so it is essential to bring your membership card and ID with you whenever visiting another Zoo or Aquarium.

    If you have permanently misplaced your cards, please contact us at either (508) 991-4556, ext. 10 or info@bpzoo.org and we’ll be happy to assist you with new cards.
